Highlights of the Chili Cook-OffEstablished in 2006, The Simon Kenton Champaign County Chili Cook-Off Festival and Hoopla Parade always takes place on the 4th Saturday in September. The family-friendly event has activities for the children and the adults, so no one will be bored. Rain or Shine...It's always a good time! Attendance and parking at the street festival is FREE.

Cook-offEnter the cooking or eating contests yourself or enjoy as a spectator. Sample chili from the upwards of 25 cooks facing off, and cast your vote for your favorite.
Try out other food options such as local restaurants, food trucks, and other food vendors that will be on site. Visit the beer garden for a drink to wash it all down. |
