Highlights of the Urban Loft TourEstablished in 2014 by the Champaign County Preservation Alliance, the Urban Loft Tour always takes place on the 1st Saturday in November. The event coincides with the Monument Square District Holiday Open House, so you are invited to shop and dine during your self-paced tour. A ticket is required to go on the Tour and may be purchase in advance or at the door. Parking in Downtown Urbana is always free.

Tour Day
The tour will begin at the Gloria Theater, 216 S. Main Street. Pick up your tour program and walk the spaces at your leisure. Tour sites will be open from 10am to 3pm. Since the showcased spaces are primarily located on upper floors of historic downtown buildings, stair climbing ability is essential.
The Urban Loft Tour is held in conjunction with the Monument Square District Holiday Open Houses, so you can browse our many specialty retail shops or get a bite to eat at a locally owned restaurant during your self-paced tour.
